TOKYO: Sony is to shade its digital book Reader Store in Europe and Australia is taking after a comparative pullout in North America, the organization has said, as the once-compelling hardware Goliath pulls in its horns.

The move goes ahead the heels of the offer of its battling PC business and as Sony looks to connect yawning openings to its accounting report.

Clients of the organization's tablets and Smartphones will be exchanged from one month from now to the Kobo digital book framework worked by Tokyo-based online shopping center Rakuten, the organization said in an explanation issued yesterday.

Spectator Store will close down on June 16 in Europe and Australia, while it will keep working in Japan, it said.

The Japanese hardware monster has effectively shut its Reader Store in North America in March.
