Nvidia's approaching 64-bit Tegra K1 chip could wind up in microservers, which might lead the organization into rivalry with ARM processor producers in that space.
The Tegra K1 chip will go into tablets, cell phones, auto and inserted items, and servers remain a plausibility, Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang said in an income call Thursday.
"I think we're seeing a great deal of enthusiasm toward putting something like Tegra in micro servers, yet one stage at once," Huang said, as indicated by a transcript of the approach Seekingalpha.
